Big and beautiful aesthetic pyrite cube cluster from Spain. The pyrite cubes are inter-grown and display very nicely. Many times when these clusters are extracted from the earth, they do come apart in places, so some parts are most likely reassembled/stabilized, but it is as it came from the earth.
FYI: When mined, many of these pyrite cubes typically do not stay in place unless buried deep within the matrix. Almost all of the on matrix pyrite specimens have been stabilized with some sort of epoxy or glue to keep the cubes in place. Many of the clusters without matrix are also reassembled and stabilized as well. The pyrite and the host rock is all natural, so it is very common that many of these natural Spanish pyrite specimens have been reassembled, just as they were within the earth.
