Alexandrite Crystals and Mineral Specimens for Sale

This collection of natural raw alexandrite crystals is mainly comprised of mineral specimens that are found in Zimbabwe. These crystals are generally too dark and included to use in jewelry and have mainly been specimen grade only. That said they do produce some beautiful crystals that have a change from a very deep green in daylight (or fluorescent lighting) to red when back lit with an incandescent light source. The crystals can be very well formed and show the natural crystal structure beautifully. Alexandrite is the color changing variety of Chrysoberyl. You can find these as single crystals or on matrix.
