    All our mineral specimens ship directly from our retail store, Moriarty's Gem Art, which is in Crown Point, IN. We are located at 126 south main st. If you have any questions, we are open Tuesday through Saturday and you can call us at 219-662-1390.

    Free Insured 1-3 Buiness Day Shipping (Signature Required)
    Free shipping is given on any size purchase! This is done via USPS with additional insurance to protect your mineral specimen. You will also be required to sign for your package, so you can be assured that your package will arrive safe in your hands.

    If Your Shipping to an Address Other Than the Billing Address 
    Because if the high fraud orders we receive, any orders shipping to addresses other than the billing address may need to be verified after your purchase. We do apologize for this, but when a person's credit card is used in a fraudulent order, the credit card company does not pay for the loss, the merchant does. When we do catch a fraud order, we contact the local police, file a report with the FBI and the contact original card holder to let them know their card has been compromised.

    Is there Sales Tax on my Order?
    A 7% sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to Indiana and 6.25% to Illinois. We are located in Crown Point, IN and are required to pay taxes on anything shipped within the state and in Illinois. There are a couple other states that we do require to charge tax and if you order within one of these states, the tax will automatically be added. 

    How long will it take for my Shipment to Arrive?
    Once the order is processed, shipping generally takes 1-3 days with our free insured shipping. Keep in mind our shop is closed on Sundays & Mondays, so orders placed Saturday through Monday will not be processed until we return on Tuesday. We do our best to process and ship as soon as possible.

    How will my Items be Shipped?
    All of our mineral specimens are shipped via the United States Postal service with additional insurance to protect your piece. They will be shipped in a secure package with protective internal packaging to keep your specimen in one piece! You will also be required to sign for your package, so you can be assured that your package will arrive safe in your hands.

    International Shipping
    We are located in the United States and I don't currently have international shipping set up on my website. That said, if you send me a message via our contact form with the piece you're interested in and the country it will be sent to, I can let you know if I am able to ship to you. I am able to ship internationally to over 75 countries. Shipping rates differ for each country, but free shipping is not available outside of the USA. With out-of-country orders, remember there can be large custom's costs (value added tax) to get it into your country that you will be responsible for. Many times it doesn't happen, but it is something to budget for.

    RETURNS

    Do you have a Return Policy?
    You have 30 days to return your item in the original condition, as well as being securely packaged just as it arrived to your door. You must insure the item for the full value when shipping back to us. MineralMike.com will refund the amount paid minus our actual shipping cost. Before shipping back to us, you must call us at 219-662-1390 or email us at mike@mineralmike.com.

    If your item was received damaged, you must call us at 219-662-1390 or email us at mike@mineralmike.com within 48 hours of receiving your item. We can then begin a claim with the post office about your damaged item. Pictures of the box and/or items condition will be required before returning. This is required by us and USPS.
