This naturally bright & colorful specimen is a fragment of a full ammolite fossil. Stabilizing and polishing these specimens is typical from this source. This double sided piece has a beautiful color that is mainly reds and oranges, but will go green at the right angle. It's a beautiful piece!

These fossil ammolites are around 70 million years old & these particular ammonites are among the few sources that produces such spectacular brightly colored specimens and gem quality pieces
