26.2ct Dark Green Hornblende Crystal Specimen

This cool & very dark green hornblende crystal shows almost no color unless back lit by a very strong light. The only sections that will show the green are the termination of this piece and some of the edges of the crystal. The termination on this crystal is actually quite translucent when lit. While dark (appearing black with a very slight green luster in normal lighting), I really like the crystal structure. A neat piece from Tanzania! We consider this piece to be a (MIN) Miniature sized mineral specimen.
