  • Oxidized Pyrite Crystals in Quartz Cluster – Hekou, Yunnan, China – 206g

    1 item left

A visually striking specimen featuring dark metallic crystals set among a dense cluster of quartz from Hekou, Yunnan, China. The larger crystals display deep reddish-brown to black coloration and retain the sharp crystal form of pyrite. While the exact identity of these crystals has not been confirmed, they are believed to represent oxidized pyrite based on a cut section from a similar specimen that revealed something that looks like fresh metallic pyrite beneath the darker outer surfaces. The strong contrast between the dark crystals and quartz matrix creates an eye-catching display with excellent dimension and visual appeal.
