Ethiopian Opal Rough – 6.72g

Hydrophane Ethiopian opal rough from showing bright play-of-color with strong flashes of green, blue, reds and hints of warmer tones. The color is visible across a broad face, giving it great visual impact even in rough form.

This piece has a nice balance of exposed color and natural host material, making it appealing both as a specimen or for cutting.

We recommend that this opal material NOT be submerged in water (unless it is being cut, water will keep it cool), and it should never have any oils applied to it. Also, due to the hydrophane nature of this opal, the weight can vary slightly with humidity.
