Ethiopian Opal Specimen with Root Like Inclusions – 5.82g

Ethiopian opal from Welo featuring bright play-of-color with strong red, green, and orange flashes across a translucent body. What makes this piece unique are the natural “root-like” inclusions suspended within the opal, adding depth and a one-of-a-kind internal landscape.

Best suited as a specimen, as host material extends into portions of the opal which would limit yield if cut.

We recommend that this opal material NOT be submerged in water (unless it is being cut, water will keep it cool), and it should never have any oils applied to it. Also, due to the hydrophane nature of this opal, the weight can vary slightly with humidity.
