An attractive blue prehnite specimen from Tanzania displaying blocky, stepped crystal growth and excellent translucency. The pale blue prehnite is accented by sparkling dark matrix and a small associated tanzanite crystal (broken piece), adding extra interest and rarity to the piece.

Under longwave UV light, the prehnite fluoresces a vivid electric blue, dramatically highlighting the crystal structure and internal layering. The combination of fluorescent blue prehnite and natural tanzanite makes this a particularly desirable collector specimen from the Merelani region.
